For good-quality digital files (wav, mp3, wma, msv, dvf, etc.) and standard or micro cassette tapes--one speaker or one-on-one interviews--you may choose a billing rate from the following options:
By the Hour @ $20.00, OR
By the Word @ $.15 cents, OR
By the Line (65 characters) @ 16 cents, OR
By the Audio Minute @ $2.50
Clients who would like transcription services on an ongoing basis can save money with a discounted monthly retainer plan. The fee will be invoiced monthly in advance. Invoices are due and payable before the month’s work begins. A maximum of 2 hours of unused time will be carried over to the next month. Any work over and above the designated hours for that month will be charged by the $15 per hour rate and will be invoiced monthly. All hours will be logged.
10 hours of transcription service @ $15.00 per hour = $150 per month
20 hours of transcription service @ $12.50 per hour = $250 per month
OR
120 audio minutes transcribed @ $1.25 per minute = $150 per month
